- Pick up litter as you walk.
- Drive courteously.
- Listen patiently.
- Rescue a stray animal and find it a home.
- Buy a grocery store gift certificate. Give it to a family or co-worker who needs it.
- Say a short prayer for an ambulance or police car that you see with its emergency lights flashing.
- Leave a larger tip than normal for your waiter or waitress, no matter what the level of service.
- Buy fast food gift certificates to give to the person with the cardboard sign on the freeway ramp.
- Call a friend or relative you haven’t spoken to lately.
- Engage a cashier in friendly conversation.
- Change a flat tire for someone in need.
- Return your grocery cart to the front door.
- Say “thank you” 10 times a day
- Say “please” 10 times a day.
- Smile at a stranger.
